Core Committee - Satria Arief Prabowo

Satria completed his medical study (MD) in Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya at 21 years of age. Satria obtained a PhD degree from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK. His achievement is recognised by the Indonesian World-Record Museum (MURI) as “The Youngest Doctor of Medicine” in Indonesia.

His love and dedication to infectious diseases drove Satria to study a new vaccine against Tuberculosis which remains as a major health problem in Indonesia. His research is part of a consortium that includes many European countries, including Eastern European countries, in which he spends a lot of time doing field works there.

Satria has travelled 50 countries in the world, mainly for his research purposes: to present his work in international conferences, attend research collaboration meeting, and build relationship with other researchers. Those have expanded Satria's horizon, especially in the variety of values, communities, and cultures that influence healthcare development and the success of research in different countries.
