On the 21st September 2019, we held our very first NIF #EduTalk.
Indonesia becoming major global research hub: transition from a resource-based to a knowledge-based economy utilising diaspora networks
Dr Bagus Muljadi shared about Indonesian Diaspora Talent Management in the movement of transforming Indonesia from a resource-based to a knowledge-based economy and mindset. He also currently managed Indonesia Doctoral Training Partnership (IDTP), a joint venture between the Indonesian government (RISTEKDIKTI) and the University of Nottingham which main goal is to facilitate knowledge exchange between UK and Indonesia. It helps academic, professional and industrial stakeholders with the provision of "pathways to impact" for collaborative research - making sure research is translated into improving the Indonesian economy.
This event was hosted at Wisma Siswa Merdeka, 44 Dartmouth Road, London NW2 4EX.
Following the talk, there was a short discussion session followed by a networking session while enjoying yummy (and FREE) Indonesian dinner 😊😋
